Y difference in daughter and daughter in law?

I sometimes wonder whymothers differentiate between daughters and daughters- in- law.

Daughter can work but daughter-in-law cannot, because she has to take care of her house.  When will we think beyond this gender gap?

I agree someone has to take care of home too, but then if a lady is taking care of home and would love to work along with that, then why there is no support for her. Just because she was born in another house to some other mother.

But eventually this daughter-in-law is going to spend more time in her sasural than the daughter herself.
